Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.
Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.
An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

Ennen laitteen käyttöönottoa
Ennen astianpesukoneen ensimmäistä käyttökertaa: 1. Varmista, että sähkö- ja vesiliitännät on tehty asennusohjeen mukaisesti. 2. Poista kaikki pakkausmateriaalit laitteen sisältä. 3. Säädä vedenpehmennin. 4. Kaada 1 litra vettä suolasäiliöön ja täytä se suolalla. 5. Täytä huuhtelukirkastesäiliö.
b) Elektroninen säätö
(Virran tulee olla kytkettynä pois) Vedenpehmentimen tehdasasetus on 5. 1. Pidä käynnistys/peru-painike painettuna ja käännä ohjelmanvalitsinta myötäpäivään, kunnes ohjelman valintamerkki on ensimmäisen pesuohjelman kohdalla. Virran ja käynnistys/peru-merkkivalot alkavat vilkkua osoittaen, että vedenpehmentimen asetustoiminto on kytketty päälle. Samalla ohjelman loppu-merkkivalo alkaa vilkkua. Sen hetkinen taso osoitetaan ohjelman loppu-merkkivalon vilkutusmäärällä ja noin 5 sekunnin tauolla (ks. taulukko). Esimerkki: 5 vilkutusta + tauko + 5 vilkutusta jne. = taso 5 2. Muuta tasoa painamalla käynnistys/peru-painiketta. Painikkeen jokainen painaminen muuttaa tason. (Ks. taulukosta uuden tason valinta). Esimerkkejä: Jos taso on 5 ja käynnistys/peru-painiketta painetaan kerran, valitaan taso 6. Jos taso on 10 ja käynnistys/peru-painiketta painetaan kerran, valitaan taso 1. Ohjelman loppu-merkkivalo pysyy sammuneena noin 5 sekuntia ja alkaa sitten vilkkua osoittamaan uutta asetusta. 3. Tallenna toimenpide sammuttamalla kone. Siirrä ohjelmanvalitsin takaisin Off-asentoon, ts. ohjelman valintamerkki virran merkkivalon kohdalle. Muussa tapauksessa odota noin 60 sekuntia. Astianpesukone palaa automaattisesti asetustilaan.
Vedenpehmentimen säätö
Astianpesukone on varustettu vedenpehmentimellä, joka on suunniteltu poistamaan veden mineraalit ja kalkin. Nämä saattavat vahingoittaa laitetta tai heikentää sen toimintaa. Mitä suurempi veden kalkkipitoisuus on, sitä kovempaa vesi on. Veden kovuutta mitataan toisiaan vastaavilla asteikoilla, esim. saksalainen asteikko (°dH), ranskalainen asteikko (°TH) ja mmol/l-asteikko (millimoolia per litra - kansainvälinen vedenkouvuuden yksikkö). Vedenpehmennin säädetään paikallisen veden kovuuden mukaan, jota voit kysyä vesilaitokselta. Vedenpehmennin tulee asettaa kummallakin tavalla: manuaalisesti käyttämällä vedenkovuussäädintä ja elektronisesti käyttämällä ohjelmanvalitsinta ja käynnistys/peru-painiketta.
a) Manuaalinen säätö
1. Avaa astianpesukoneen luukku. 2. Poista astianpesukoneen alakori. 3. Käännä vedenkovuuskatkaisin asentoon 1 tai 2 (ks. taulukko). 4. Aseta alakori takaisin. Vedenpehmentimen tehdasasetus on 2.
